I ate at Hoagie's the other day. It felt like a good spot to think about dad. It is a little diner in Hopkins that dad used to take me to. The waitresses there knew him and called him "Big Red". Dad was always talkative and nice, but not an especially generous tipper. I can remember one of waitresses shouting after him, "Thanks big spender". Dad thought that was the funniest thing ever.
Thanks for putting this together. Love you.
